Leslie Roubos

With a degree in Spanish from the University of Colorado, Leslie began the pursuit of a career in international finance by attending the American Graduate School of International Management (aka “Thunderbird”) in Arizona.  She earned an academic scholarship after her first semester and received a Masters Degree in International Management with an emphasis in Finance.  True to her goal, Leslie worked in international finance in “Corporate America” for over 18 years, spending time early in her career working in Spain and Mexico.  Her experience with financial planning, treasury and banking brings a unique wealth and breadth of knowledge to the Maverick Lending Network.  While in the Vail Valley, her positions as Director of Finance and Investor Relations at Vail Resorts, Inc. and Vice President - Private Banking at Wells Fargo Bank helped Leslie broaden and strengthen her lending, financial analysis, cash management and leadership skills.  These experiences have helped Leslie build a solid foundation for understanding mortgage financing. 
 
Leslie has lived in Colorado on and off since 1971 and has been an Eagle County resident since 1998.  She enjoys skiing, golfing, biking (both motorcycle and the kind that has to be pedaled) and traveling.  Actively involved in the community, Leslie is a member of the Board of Directors of the Eagle Valley Family Assistance Fund, the Family Selection Committee for Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties, and the Cordillera Motorcycle Association.  She also volunteers for other community and local causes.  She is an avid golfer and is a member of the Country Club of the Rockies and the Arrowhead Alpine Club.
 
Leslie has earned a reputation, both with her clients and business partners, as a thorough professional who focuses on providing comprehensive solutions to her clients’ needs, helping them make the wisest decisions to meet their individual financial goals.  She is known for her high standards of customer service, strong work ethic, honesty and integrity, and she believes in delivering what she promises while catering to each client on an individual basis.  These strengths are assets to Maverick Lending and its focus on guiding each client through every step of the loan process.
